FAQ

Questions, answered.

Do I need any experience?

No. Most clients start with zero experience. Sessions are built around your current level.

What should I wear?

Comfortable athletic clothes without zippers or pockets (a t-shirt or rash guard plus shorts or leggings). A gi is optional. Remove jewelry before training.

How much space do we need?

A clear area about the size of the mats we bring. We'll confirm space during intake. If indoor space is tight, a nearby park or yard works great.

Where do you travel?

We train clients across all of Los Angeles County, plus up to a 30-mile radius outside the county. Your rate depends on area/location and is confirmed after intake.

How much does it cost?

Sessions range from $50 to $125, depending on area/location. You get an exact quote after intake.

Is it safe for kids?

Yes. Kids' sessions focus on fundamentals, control and fun, with close supervision and age-appropriate techniques.

What if I have an injury?

Tell us on the intake form. We'll adapt or skip techniques as needed. Check with your doctor first if you have any medical concerns.

What about bad weather for outdoor sessions?

We'll reschedule or move indoors if possible. [Add your weather / cancellation policy]
